Purusha Yoga is an Integral Yoga system developed through more than 20 years of dedicated teaching and practice (formerly established as Om Yoga Fullness). The term "Purusha" refers to the "Pure Consciousness" or the "True Self," which serves as the North Star of our methodology. Our style is a harmonious synthesis of traditional Vedic wisdom and modern biomechanical precision, designed to lead the practitioner toward a state of holistic balance. Methodology and Practice: The practice is characterized by a conscious and deliberate flow, where every movement is an act of mindfulness. We follow a specific structural order for each asana: Construction (Armado): Precise alignment and foundational stability. Deconstruction & Neutralization (Desarmado/Salida): Safe transitions and compensatory movements. Integration: Exploring the physical benefits, contraindications, and the subtle energetic/emotional impact of each posture. Key Pillars: Integral Alignment: We prioritize the safety of the physical body while ensuring the free flow of Prana through the Nadis and Chakras. Breath-Sync (Pranayama): Breath is not just an accompaniment but the driver of the practice, regulating the nervous system and calming the mind. Meditative Depth: Every session is designed as a "moving meditation," aiming to quiet the fluctuations of the mind (Chitta Vritti) to allow the inner light of Purusha to shine through. Therapeutic Adaptability: Drawing from two decades of experience, our style is inclusive and adaptable, respecting the unique "biological alignment" of every individual student.
