Namasté from Rapallo, a wonderful seaside town in Liguria (Italy). Water is an element I love that empowers me every morning whiIe I practice Meditation or execute the Sun Salutation. By profession I am a foreign language professor and teach in Italian high school system. I matured a love for holistic disciplines, I took a three years’ Master in Ayurvedic Medicine, and there the magic started. I’ve always loved Oriental disciplines, yet Yoga fully opened and expanded my horizons. In my youth I enjoyed doing ballet dancing, gymnastics and going to tennis classes, then suddenly and strangely I refused any type of sport activities. For a long time I believed that Yoga meant just movement. Some friends had suggested that I go to a Yoga class, but there was no way it was going to happen! Then, one day, maybe because I knew the teacher very well, or because it was the right moment I went to my first Yoga class, and it was love at first sight. I love Yoga because it benefits both the physical and spiritual level. I teach my students how to listen to their body, to accept, respect and improve their limits, and to focus on their heart and not on their mind. www.eleonoramedici.it [email protected]
