Hi, I completed my Aerial Yoga Instructor course in Feb 2022 through Aerial Yoga Academy and have loved developing my practice, I have been a Remedial Massage Therapist for the past 16 years and love the versitile way in which Aerial yoga can help develop strength/ stretch/flexibility/mobility within the body in a functional way with bodies of all capabilities. I am doing additional aerial yoga studies through another teacher training source, and also in the final stages of completing my 200YTT.

As discussed in the about me section, I am in the final stages of my 200YTT. I also have 16 years of Remedial Massage experience. I am a Pediatric Massage Consultant and have done further training for Oncology massage, and all of these have contributed towards my knowledge of the breath, calming the body, relaxation techniques as well as stretches for increased range of motion, mobility work and altering stretches when dealing with injury or post injury. This has all impacted the way I teach. I work with bodies of all shapes/size/age and capabilities, so I enjoy incorporating breath awareness to calm the body, pairing the movements with the breath to increase depth and range, creating a little strength or balance to challenge the body but also with modifications and options to scale back, finishing with restorative poses to slow the body and stretch in a gentle subtle way that can also be recreated at home. I love teaching in a way that the students learn something that they can translate to thier day to day life, be it a stretch or some breath work they can implement between their classes.
